Melenie Freedom Flynn

Melenie Freedom Flynn is currently working on her first book, I Gave You the Name of Freedom, a memoir about growing up in the backseat of Delilah, her parent’s big blue Ford LTD, as they drifted back and forth between the Rajneesh commune in Oregon and the casinos of Las Vegas during the 1980s. Melenie is the recipient of a MacDowell Colony Fellowship, Djerassi Artist-in-Residence Fellowship, Atlantic Center for the Arts Residency, and scholarships to Squaw Valley Community of Writers Workshop. She received her MFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts. She lives in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
