Julia Thomas

Julia Thomas is a current student at Scripps College in Claremont, California, originally hailing from Bainbridge Island, Washington. She is an aspiring journalist, hoping to one day combine her love of travel, foreign language and writing. A history major, she has had bylines and worked at various types of publications in her past five years of journalism experience, including Marie Claire Magazine, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Borgen Magazine, Food Safety News, and The Bainbridge Review. Last spring, she served as Editor-in-Chief of Claremont consortium newspaper The Student Life. When she’s not working, Julia fills her time with running, skiing, exploring new cities, and fulfilling her travel bug whenever possible.
