The results are out this morning for this year’s Best Travel Writing Awards from Solas/Travelers’ Tales (read the full line-up here) and Vela Magazine is proud to bring home 2 silver medals, for Sarah Menkedick’s The Revolution and my own Wind Horses of Mustang. We’re also pretty stoked to see how many women writers are represented on this year’s prize list.
