Erica Watson lives on the boundary of Denali National Park, Alaska, with her partner Craig and more books than space to keep them. She works a variety of seasonal jobs in service and education, and depending on the season, she spends her time knitting, skiing, hiking, and gardening, and other wholesome activities necessitated by rural life. She’s equally grateful for the internet and for places without it.
Erica recently completed her MFA in creative nonfiction through the University of Alaska Anchorage’s low-residency program, where she won the Jason Wenger Award for Excellence. Her work has appeared in Camas, Cirque, ISLE Journal, and Trop Magazine.
