Lauren Quinn is a writer, editor and teacher. Her work has appeared in The Believer, Guernica, The Guardian, The Rumpus, The Billfold, The Toast and San Francisco Chronicle, among others. Her pieces have been featured on Longform.org, The New York Times’ “What We’re Reading” and The New Yorker’s “Weekend Reading,” and anthologized in The Best Women’s Travel Writing. She holds a BA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and used to write the blog Lonely Girl Travels.
Lauren is currently living in Los Angeles, where she is pursuing a Masters in Education at UCLA. She has previously taught kindergarten in Hanoi and freelanced in Phnom Penh. She will always be an Oakland girl at heart.
