Heidi McKinley is an MFA student at the University of New Orleans. In 2015 she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and journalism from the University of Iowa. She has contributed articles to Iowa City’s Little Village Magazine and The Cedar Rapids Gazette. Her poetry has appeared in Typehouse Literary Magazine, Kawsmouth, The 2River View, and The Missing Slate.
