Emily Raboteau

Emily Raboteau is the author of The Professor's Daughter (Henry Holt, 2005) and Searching for Zion: The Quest for Home in the African Diaspora (Grove/Atlantic, 2013) winner of an American Book Award and finalist for the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award, She co-directs the MFA program in Creative Writing at the City College of New York, and is at work finishing her third book, Endurance, a novel about the superintendent of a building in New York City struggling to raise his autistic son to become a competent adult.
